Rick Rieger, PT
University of Washington
Rick graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy in 1995. Since then, he has dedicated his practice to outpatient orthopedics with emphasis on rehabilitation and prevention of athletic injuries. Rick has a special interest in lower extremity biomechanics/gait analysis and custom orthotic fabrication. He also specializes in upper extremity biomechanics and enjoys treating overhead throwing athletes and runners. Rick has served on an advisory board at the University of Washington Department of Physical Therapy and has been a weekend therapist for Stevens Pass Ski Patrol for the last fifteen years. For the last 10 years he has served as a volunteer therapist for Bellevue High School helping with injury management and treatment. He has formerly volunteered at Redmond and Juanita high schools. Rick enjoys time with his family including his two children, coaching his son’s baseball team, fly fishing, triathlons and skiing.
